Lee Goldberg is a distinguished trial attorney and registered patent attorney with over 25 years of experience navigating the intersection of complex technology and intellectual property law. Lee has served as lead trial counsel in high-stakes intellectual property disputes, where he has consistently secured multi-million-dollar jury awards and judgments for his clients. His notable courtroom victories include a $10 million jury award and a $3 million patent and trademark infringement judgment featuring enhanced damages and an award of attorney’s fees.

Lee’s chemical engineering background allows him to bring a deep technical understanding to every case. This expertise enables him to manage the full IP lifecycle—from global portfolio strategy and USPTO post-grant proceedings to aggressive courtroom advocacy in multiple patent litigations. Lee has also acted as lead trial counsel in trademark, trade dress, copyright and trade secret litigations before judges and juries throughout the country.

In addition to his litigation practice, Lee serves as a strategic advisor to startups and established enterprises. He has held general counsel roles for innovative companies in the web development and medical device sectors, notably guiding one company through the legal complexities of FDA compliance and the global distribution of novel medical technologies. His commercial experience encompasses the negotiation of sophisticated SaaS/PaaS and data privacy agreements, M&A due diligences, and international licensing alliances.

Whether representing brand-name pharmaceutical companies or spearheading Section 337 investigations before the ITC, Lee remains dedicated to aligning his legal strategy with the long-term commercial objectives of his clients.
